In early August 2016, REDAELLI TECNA S.P.A received mooring lines order for FPSO “Nan Hai Sheng Li”, which is owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (“CNOOC”).
According to REDAELLI Shanghai office, the company will supply 3 permanent mooring lines to CNOOC, which includes 2 steel wire ropes with length of 275m, and the third one is 225m. The mooring lines are single-strand spiral steel wire ropes, with diameter of 114mm.
REDAELLI Permanent Mooring Lines are used for decades in a wide range of vessels and barges in the offshore oil & gas industry. These are REDAELLI’s hi-tech steel wire ropes used for anchoring and mooring applications on drilling rigs, semi-submersible vessels, FPSOs etc. The ropes have been designed and manufactured to comply with the most severe requirement.
These wire ropes represent the evolution of the conventional steel wire ropes. The vessel is designed, constructed and installed for oil exploration in China’s Liuhua 11-1 offshore oil field. The vessel is owned by CNOOC and is certified by ABS.
