Production of a ferrule secured eye termination of 127mm wire rope

The Asian market is important to TALURIT. There are many lifting and rigging companies located in the SE Asian market, especially in Singapore. The market for offshore O&G industry is large and there’s room for growth. Over the last few years, TALURIT has been successfully entering the market in Singapore by working with local partners. The company set up a joint venture with Gimex Pte Ltd in Singapore last year, to strengthen the sales and service activities in the SE Asian region.
TALURIT has had a steady growth over the years and has created a very strong brand in the industry. The company manufactured their first 4200 ton swager last year (2015), which is the largest swager that has been manufactured by themselves. The swager is developed for making a mechanical splicing of an eye on a wire rope that can have a diameter up to 160 mm. The wire rope that is swaged in these sizes is often used in the offshore industry, when securing oil platforms.
OSEA has been an influential tradeshow for the O&G industry for many years. TALURIT exhibits at this exhibition every two years. At this year’s OSEA, the company will highlight their largest swager with 4200 ton capacity, LKA 28-PS Wire Rope Cutting Machine, AV 30 Annealing Machine, P 0130T 1P Swager and CC20T Chain Cutter ferrules and end fittings, etc., from 29 November to 2 December, 2016.
