Here is the full text from Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia:

By 2020, we envision the OGE sector to generate US$40 billion in incremental income. To achieve this, it is crucial that all avenues and opportunities in the sector are explore and developed to operate at maximum capacity.

The Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) series, which celebrates its 16th installation this year, plays a critical role in this regard. As the region’s number one Oil & Gas event, OGA 2017 is the definitive platform for governments, corporations and service providers to come together and collaborate in the interest of strengthening the future of the OGE sector.

OGA 2017 will highlight Malaysia’s potential as the regional deepwater and oilfield services hub in the region. We have been focusing on deepwater exploration and EOR of mature fields to sustain and increase Oil & Gas production. This platform will highlight the country’s Oil & Gas potential while staying up-to-date with the latest innovations and technology from around the world to strengthen its position.

Malaysia is proud to host OGA and witness its growth over the years. No other show in the region attracts more attendees and exhibiting companies, and these impressive numbers are due in part to Malaysia’s increasingly prominent role as the regional centre of the Oil & Gas industry.
