VITALI-INTL held an opening ceremony on August 1st (2017) to mark the completion of its new factory. The new factory is located in a Haining suburb near Hangzhou.
Dennis Wong, VITALI-INTL’s Managing Director, expressed the company’s expectations for the new production facility, “We hope to achieve a technologically advanced and environmental friendly factory that utilizes automation and solar power and mobilizes here all of the manufacturing know-how that VITALI-INTL has cultivated over the years. Together with offering hoisting equipment that delight worldwide customers, we intend to be a good corporate citizen that contributes to the development of Haining and Zhejiang by continuing to invest and create jobs in China.”
When talking about new processes and equipment utilized in manufacturing, Mr. Wong told us, “We have spent time to continuously improve our heat treatment processes. In particular, we controlled the heat treatment temperature from 880 ℃ down to 45 ℃ while many other factories could only manage to go down to 50 or 60 ℃. We are able to achieve this by designing our cooling system from the ground up for our new factory.”
“We have also built a hoist testing platform of 3m and 6m according to a UK design, with which we can test our hoists in a near real world environment.”
