A new ferry named “Xin Hai Wei” is successfully launched on 22 September. The “Xin Hai Wei” is a high-speed catamaran passenger ferry made of aluminum alloy, owned by Zhuhai High Speed Ferry Co., Ltd. and built by Ao Long Vessel Co., Ltd.
Jian Feng Sling provides custom lifting solutions to “Xin Hai Wei” ferry, which includes Lifting Beams and Flat Woven Webbing Slings. The webbing slings are made wide, which ensures large surfaces to connect with the ferry body. Moreover, nylon protective covers and rubber pads enable a better balance under force. The connections between lifting beams and the webbing slings are adjustable to reduce shaking and tilting, making a safe lifting application easy to achieve.
The “Xin Hai Wei” ferry is 42.1m long, 10.6m wide, with 10.6m moulded depth. The maximum speed reaches 36.9 knot. The ferry is able to transport 288 passengers and 9 crews at one time. This is a high performance vessel which will serve in ferry routes from Zhuhai to Hong Kong, Macau, and nearby coastal areas.
