The 2018 Show of Manufacturing World Japan just ended with the greatest success ever. Thanks to the strong support of manufacturing industry from Japan and all around the world, this year’s show has broken its records with attendance of 2,522 exhibitors and 88,679 visitors.

Some of the most important figures of the event are:
1.  Most-Ever! 408 international exhibitors brought in the latest international trends
2.  21 international group and 306 visit delegations
3.  30 Technical Sessions cover the latest technologies & industry trends
4.  Huge number of major companies are exhibiting, such as FUJI XEROX, TOSHIBA, NIKON, AUTODESK etc.
5.  Business meetings were seen everywhere throughout the halls

The contest gathered four parallel events:
–  22nd Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo (M-Tech)
–  29th Design Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Expo (DMS)
–  26th 3D & Virtual Reality Expo (IVR)
–  9th Medical Device Development Expo (MEDIX)

Concurrently with the exhibition, a variety of conferences were staged. Industry leaders from giant companies such as MAZDA MOTOR, NEC, OMRON, HONDA MOTOR, HITACHI, FUJITEC, STRATASYS, DESKTOP METAL, NISSAN MOTOR, OLYMPUS, UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO shared their opinions for the latest manufacturing innovations, Internet of Things technology, Smart Factory, IT strategy for Manufacturing industry.

The show management of Manufacturing World Japan held a special seminar for international exhibitors in English and Chinese on the day before the show opening. The main topic is onHow to maximise on-site business with Japanese visitors”, which explains Japanese business customs, tips to maximise the show results, useful Japanese phrases, etc., to enhance international exhibitors on-site business.Upcoming exhibitions of Manufacturing World shows are 21st Manufacturing World Osaka (October 3-5, 2018), 30th Manufacturing World Japan (February 6-8, 2019) and 4th Manufacturing World Nagoya (April 17-19, 2019). Exhibit spaces for the upcoming Manufacturing World Japan 2019 were mostly reserved by the last day of 2018 edition (June 22, 2018). 70 to 90 percent of exhibit spaces of the next editions – 30th Manufacturing World Japan (2019), 21st Manufacturing World Osaka (2018), and 4th Manufacturing World Nagoya (2019) have been already booked on-site, reflecting the exhibitors’ satisfactory on business outcomes.
