This year’s Intermodal Asia has been cancelled due to the wide spread of Covid-19 infection around China. The in-person event is scheduled to be returned on 19-21 July 2023 in Shanghai. Official announcement is as follows.

“I am writing to advise you that, due to current restrictions in Shanghai, we have taken the decision to postpone Intermodal Asia until July 2023.

Although life in Shanghai is returning to normality, the permissions that we require to host live in-person events are not forthcoming. After consultation with our partners, CCIA, we have concluded that the next edition of Intermodal Asia will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC) from July 19th to the 21st.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we wish to thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.

Much of the world is continuing to make great progress in recovering from the impact of the pandemic, with many live events taking place successfully once again, including our own Intermodal Europe which returned to Amsterdam last week (8 – 10 November) after a three-year hiatus.

To all our customers based in China, please know that we are thinking of you and we are very much look forward to meeting with you again at Intermodal Asia 2023 in Shanghai.”
