The first time exhibiting at CeMAT, with good results

This is SHANDONG SHENLI RIGGING’s first time exhibiting at CeMAT. Lily Liu comments, “CeMAT is certainly a big event for the lifting and rigging industry. Many European customers and buyers come here. By visiting and seeing new products around, we learn a lot and this is very good experience.”

DU Da-Ping says, “This is my first time coming to Hannover. The tradeshow so far is very promising for us. I have the chance communicating with people in the industry, and notice that there are many differences and areas of improvement for us. We have the chance talking to customers from Europe, and also companies in the lifting industry. The new products and technology give us a better view of the current trends of the industry. This gives us insights how SHENLI RIGGING could improve.

SHENLI RIGGING is exhibiting their Grade 80 and Grade 100 chain and accessories. One product highlight is the specially designed Grade 100 load binder. Unlike other similar products in China, SHENLI’s new load binder has a shorter handle which allows easy operation. Another product is SHENLI’s newly designed safety hook, which is designed for use in the offshore industry, for lifting applications on oil rigs.

Popular in Overseas Markets

SHENLI’s products have been exported to more than 60 countries or areas. “SHENLI RIGGING” and “SLR” brands are well known around the world.

In Europe, SHENLI’s products are widely used in ports, mines, lumbering, hoists, and load securing applications.

At this CeMAT, new opportunities come by as Lily Liu says, “We learnt from our new contacts that many of them are selling European brands and they have not been purchasing from China. We believe there are good market opportunities in Europe. Surely we will further strengthen our presence here.”

Since the economic downturn in 2008, SHENLI has been strengthening its sales in mainland China. DU Da-Ping says, “In mainland China, we supply mainly to big railway companies, mining companies etc., and the volume usually are big while the model varieties are not so big. In contrast, we export very large varieties of products in smaller volumes for the overseas markets.”

SHENLI exports its own branded products such as “SHENLI RIGGING” and “SLR”. Also, OEM production remains a major portion of SHENLI’s exports.

Talking about the advantages of SHENLI’s products, Lily Liu says, “One of SHENLI’s advantage is the large varieties of products we offer, which is the results of our years of efforts in product development. Another advantage is the implementation of our complete testing program. We conduct fatigue testing, low temperature compact testing, salt spray testing and metal material testing in our own facilities which require big investments in machines and training. Some of our customers in Europe do not have these testing facilities and they have to rely on third parties. In contrast, at SHENLI, we have a complete program that we can test our products in every production stages.”
