Round Link Conveyor Chains meet the dimensional requirements of DIN Grade 2 specifications, mainly used in Flight Bar Conveyors and Traction System.
Compact Link Mining Chains are made of forged vertical links. The chains in large diameter are formed and laced together by specially designed machine, to ensure continuous and consistently formed chain. This configuration performs better capacity than chains made of flattened wrought vertical links.
Xtra Round Chains and Compact Chains have been developed by Parsons’ material technology and heat treatment techniques, offer higher tensile strength, fatigue strength and long duration, compared to chains made of flattened wrought vertical links.
The alloy steel material specification for Anti-corrosion Round Chains were developed and patented in 1997 to overcome the effects of the most corrosive mining environment. Unlike chains which are surface galvanized, Anti-corrosion Round Chains are borned to anti corrosion, which will not be wear off the chain and long lasting. Parsons Anti-corrosion Round Chains are successfully used in flight bar converyors in the world and have been proven their anti-corrosion capacity, such as San Juan Mine in New Mexico (USA), Moranbah North Mine and Newstan Mine in Australia. Technical Service Department will also estimate if the project should use Anti-corrosion Round Chains in the mine.
