s01Recently, a meeting for the first project completion review of the R&D center between Shandong Shenli Rigging Co., Ltd and Mechanical Engineering Dept. of Zhejiang University was held in Shandong Shenli Rigging’s headquarter.

Approximately 20 people attended the meeting, include Dr. TAN Jian-Rong and his R&D team (Dr. CAO Yan-Long, Dr. LIU Da-Xin and Dr. ZHANG Chao-He included) from Zhejiang University and representatives from Shandong Shenli Rigging include CEO Mr. DU Ya-Zhong, General Manager Mr. DU Da-Ping and Deputy General Manager Mr. YANG Yong-Hai. The meeting is hosted by Mr. WANG Xiu-Gang, Head of Shandong Shenli Rigging’s R&D Technology Department.

Mr. DU Ya-Zhong gives a warm welcome to Dr. TAN Jian-Rong and his R&D team and thanks for what they have done for the project. “This is the first completed project since we started the cooperation with Mechanical Engineering Dept. of Zhejiang University, which is an important mile stone of our company. With the knowledge awarded from this project, we can improve our product design methods, ensure high tensile strength of SLR products and increase product life cycle. In the future, we will continue working on technology innovation and product development, to supply high standard products for our worldwide customers.” He remarks.

Dr. TAN Jian-Rong appreciates the highly support of Shandong Shenli Rigging. He also talks about what happened to the project and how is the recent development. After that, Dr. LIU Da-Xin (from the R&D team) releases the show-how documents, data and statistics, technical specification and training instruction. With 3D Animation design, he also shows what happens to popular lifting & rigging products’ tensile strength under force.

Strong cooperation between the two units leads to great progress on technology of lifting and rigging products’ finite element analysis (FEA). They realized finite element analysis (FEA) on what happens to popular lifting & rigging products’ structure strength under force, development of custom analyzed methods and optimization of lifting & rigging products’ structural design.

They also have developed a software for lifting & rigging products’ finite element analysis (FEA), which is copyright approved by the Chinese government, and leads to higher level of digitalization and high efficiency of product design in China. To better understand and utilize this kind of technology and software, the company Shandong Shenli Rigging provides technical training for their engineers.
