The leading event for the ASEAN Oil & Gas industries Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) now merged with Malaysia Oil, Gas & Services Exhibition and Conference (MOGSEC) and co-located with The Inaugural Petrochemical Sustainability Conference (PSC) 2022, staged together from September 13 to 15, 2022 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

OGA x MOGSEC and PSC 2022 is an all-inclusive event championed by three parties: The Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC), Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA) and Informa Markets Malaysia. The narrative put out by this strategic alliance will further reinforce Malaysia as the region’s Oil, Gas, Energy, and Petrochemicals hub.

The merged event will span across six halls at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre with over 500 participating companies from over 25 countries, 8 international country pavilions – Germany, Indonesia, Italy, North America, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

Energy professionals from across the globe will gather in Kuala Lumpur and the merged event is expected to see over 25,000 professional visitors (OGA 2019 – 27,837), who are working to source for the latest products and world-class innovations, services and technology in the Oil, Gas, Energy and Petrochemical Engineering industries.

MOGSEC is a tradeshow focused exclusively on the power of Malaysian Oil & Gas players, serves a crucial role in encouraging greater collaboration within the domestic industry.

Held over three days, MOGSEC 2022 is power-packed with 14 knowledge sharing sessions by 40+ internationally recognised industry leaders, include YABhg. Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia & Honorary President, Perdana Leadership Foundation.

1^st Petrochemicals Sustainability Conference held by the Malaysian Petrochemicals Association

The Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA) is organising its first international conference on petrochemical sustainability focusing on the challenges and how key industry stakeholders can navigate the transition towards net-zero carbon emissions.

The conference is scheduled on 13-14 September, 2022 and expected to gather over 50 thought leaders and over 500 delegates from Malaysia and the region in Kuala Lumpur.

Sustainability, growth and future aspirations of the industry are expected to be the dominant themes as the industry reflects on fresh insights and innovative pathways to navigate implications from recent volatile markets, global energy transition ambitions and net-zero carbon emission goals that ultimately contribute towards nation-building and the national economy through overall industry development.

The strategic move bringing the best of both events will see the emergence of a brand-new industry led premier event, hosting not just the latest participation in the ASEAN region, but also the most inclusive and content filled.
